VISA HOLDERS

AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS

 

You must provide your passport on arrival prior to commencing work:

  • Identity must be confirmed
  • Visa must be valid to work in Australia
  • The employer will check that the person has a valid visa to work in Australia through the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)
  • If you intend to earn money in Australia, you must generally have a tax file number (TFN).

 

You must provide one of the following on arrival prior to commencing work:

  • Australian Passport or;
  • Australian Citizenship Certificate and another form of ID such as a drivers licence or;
  • Full Australian birth certificate for a person born before 20 August 1986 and another form of photo identification such as a drivers licence or;
  • Full Australian Birth Certificate for a person born on or after 20 August 1986, showing that at least one parent was born in Australia and another form of photo identification such as a drivers licence.

 

 

 

 

 

Work Health and Safety

 

 

 

Prior to starting work, all employees are inducted as per scheduled meeting on arrival where you are given information about safe work procedures. Detailed information about orchard and shed safety including safe work practises and training is provided and it is expected that employees adhere to these directives and work in a safe and responsible manner. As part of this process, employees must advise management of any pre-existing injuries.
